Chapter Six:

Your beloved girlfriends, they are NOT AVAILABLE, don’t waste your time asking your single selfish high-roller girlfriends who disappoint you by asking them to babysit just for an hour while you go take an aimless drive at 8PM and listen to The Cure or Portishead and cry your eyeballs out in the car. Or just go run about 10 really important errands you cannot do with the baby in a city like Los Angeles where you need to drive everywhere and take the baby in and out of the cars eat like a BILLION times. It’s exhausting, try not to bring your baby along, no matter how much of a wonder Woman you think you are, get someone even try paying someone for an hour to do the job, but make sure it’s not someone who is going to drop your baby or let him fall off the bed that is a good two feet and a half off the ground and then lie about it or deny it ever happened, when you clearly see a huge booboo on his forehead and a lip is busted and nose almost broken.

Or a sister who will not return your phone call when her godson is in the ER and tries once and doesn't even leave a message. Or another sister who tells you what day is her day-off cause she offered to help and you say thanks but no thanks and then realize you really do need the help and call back to see if they can help you while you prepare for a business trip on a Saturday night and all of a sudden that sister has two job interviews- whatever that sister got two booty calls that's what she got, so just DO NOT COUNT on FAMILY and get a NANNY if you can afford one.

The best revenge is when those same single selfish bitches who call themselves your friends, get knocked-up, just say you have taken a leave of absence from their lives and changed your cellphone number and forgot to give them the new one. Just remember do not expect anything from your friends, this is when you know who has a BIG HEART and who DOES NOT, SIMPLY PUT, CARE ABOUT YOU Let alone YOU LITTLE BABY’s WELL-BEING. Irony is that knowing the way I am I'll still want to go meet their babies not for them but for that new life about to begin in this crazy world...
